Valluvar

Thiruvalluvar is a celebrated Tamil poet and philosopher whose contribution to Tamil literature is the Thirukkural, a work on ethics. This work is one of the most revered ancient works in the Tamil language. It is considered a ‘common creed’, providing a guide for human morals and betterment in life. This collection of couplets was written on ethical, social, political, economical, religious, philosophical, and spiritual spheres. The Philosophy proposed by Valluvar is known as “Valluvam” which is applicable to the entire mankind irrespective of caste, colour, creed, culture, cuisine, costume and consensus. Valluvam has an unshakeable faith in dharma and extols Ethics.

Thirukkuṛaḷ is divided into three sections: Section one deals with Aram (Virtue), good ethical behavior with conscience and honor (right conduct); Section two discusses Porul (Wealth), the right manner of conducting worldly affairs (including Statecraft and Warcraft); and Section three dwells on Inbam (love). Through this the Savant guides the humans to aim at attaining Veedu (Ultimate Salvation).

Our Aim

Valluvam Trust is inspired by the philosophy of Valluvar and wishes to follow a sensible, ethical right life in public and private activities carried out for the people. Valluvam Trust is a Registered, Not for Profit, Non Governmental, Social Service Organisation established in the year 2019 by the renowned Philanthropist Seva Ratna V.Narayana Raju with the aim of improving the quality of life of the Rural, Socially Backward, down trodden and marginalized section of the Society. It provides help to the needy, education for poor children, funds for good causes like environment conservation, Child and women rights awareness, agriculture & allied services and all kind of social services like health camps, and public awareness programs.

The Seva Ratna Mr.Narayana Raju is a well known Philanthropist who worked for the up-liftment of masses of the society. As suggested by many of the business and Social leaders, he established this Ngo in 2019 to formally and officially work for the society. He is well connected with popular business houses, academic institutions, Professionals not only in southern India but also oversees as well. These Connects who are willing to advice, Guide and patronize the activity of the organization to contribute to the betterment of the society through Valluvam Trust.
